GOTS Global Accreditation Standard for Organic Textiles, referred to as GOTS, is the result of the harmonious development of senior standards certification bodies and high technology.

The purpose of this certification standard is to ensure that organic textiles are produced from raw materials harvested, produced through environmental protection and in compliance with corporate social responsibility methods, and the standardization of final product packaging labeling to ensure that reliable products are brought to the final consumer. This new line of unique certification standards requires textile manufacturers to standardize the production of their organic textiles and apparel with globally accepted standards. This is an important measure to achieve harmonization and transparency of textile labels.

This organic textile certification standard covers the entire process of planting, processing, packaging, labeling, exporting, importing, and distribution of all natural fibers. End products include, but are not limited to, fibers, fiber products, yarns, and apparel.
